Brethren,
First, giving all honor and praises to the Great Architect of the Universe, the Giver of all our good gifts and graces. I thank you, my brothers, for this great honor to be your Master of this lodge. Your support and trust for me in this duty is very humbling, and I will do my best with your help to continue to move this lodge forward. My goal this year is to continue to make a difference as well as in the community and to continue the tradition and success of the prior Masters of Charles H. Wesley Lodge No. 147. The theme for this year is “Keep the Faith” and is complemented by the scripture…
“Isaiah 26: 3-4 Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock...“
I challenge the brothers of the lodge to allow humility in our lives so that we can see the opportunity for growth in our lives, growth in the relationships with our brothers, and growth for the lodge.
Fraternally,
Lawrence J. Mercer

A LODGE DETERMINED
TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Our commitment to service extends far beyond the walls of the lodge. Through intentional action and collective effort, we strive to meet real needs in our community—providing Thanksgiving meals to men’s shelters, bringing joy to children through toy giveaways, and taking responsibility for the spaces we share through neighborhood and roadside cleanups. These efforts reflect our belief that service is not seasonal and brotherhood is not symbolic it is lived. By showing up consistently, working together, and leading by example, we aim to make a lasting, positive impact while honoring the principles upon which our lodge was founded.
